I left Switzerland ... at last

I went to Lyon. It is a great city very peaceful and with very friendly people.

I did not visit any Museum, so I do not have any revelation about silk, Gignol or Lumiere brothers. I visited plenty churches, because it is the best place to find freshness and Lyon offer a big choice. Probably the most known is the Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière, since it is on the top of a hill you can see it from everywhere.

The center is on a peninsula between 2 rivers: the Soanne and the Rhone. This area let a huge place to the pedestrian and it is very funny to be in a big city and seeing so less traffic.

Another very attractive thing of Lyon is the Cuisinne. You can find small street full with terraces and a large choice of food. My choice for a local dish is the Quenelle a fine pastry with fish and cheese.

Tomorrow I am going to Roanne, do not expect a lot to say about it, but I will visit a friend of mine.
